Focused on maximizing the value of its assets and expanding into new markets, the company seeks a strategic and relationship-driven leader to join its team as Director of Corporate Development.Position OverviewThis position will be based in Las Vegas, Nevada, at our client's corporate headquarters. Relocation assistance is available for highly qualified candidates.The Director of Corporate Development will serve as a critical strategic partner to executive leadership, with responsibility for spearheading business development initiatives, managing high-level government and regulatory relations, and driving legal and financial due diligence in support of expansion efforts. This role requires a multifaceted leader with a deep understanding of the gaming industry, strong government affairs experience, and the ability to identify, negotiate, and close complex transactions.Key ResponsibilitiesStrategic Business Development

• Identify, evaluate, and pursue new business opportunities across gaming and hospitality sectors, including greenfield developments, acquisitions, partnerships, and joint ventures.
• Lead efforts related to Requests for Proposals (RFPs), public-private partnerships, and government-authorized developments.
• Develop strategic frameworks for market entry and expansion into new jurisdictions.Government & Regulatory Affairs
  • Establish and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders in state, federal, and tribal governments.
  • Serve as a liaison for regulatory bodies, managing licensing processes, legislative engagement, and compliance negotiations.
  • Monitor legislative and regulatory changes that could impact the company's operations or strategic direction.Corporate Development & Transactions
    • Lead deal sourcing, due diligence, negotiation, and execution of mergers, acquisitions, divestitures, and other strategic initiatives.
    • Collaborate cross-functionally with finance, legal, and operations teams to assess investment opportunities and structure transactions.
    • Oversee valuation models, market assessments, and legal frameworks required to support deals.Legal & Compliance Oversight
      • Ensure adherence to gaming regulatory compliance, including multi-jurisdictional licensing and renewals.
      • Support legal teams with structuring contracts, negotiating terms, and managing external counsel relationships.
      • Maintain robust oversight of SEC regulations, corporate disclosures, and governance protocols.Financial Strategy & Risk Management
        • Provide financial leadership across development initiatives, including budgeting, forecasting, and investment analysis.
        • Assess capital allocation and ROI across development and acquisition projects.
        • Lead financial due diligence efforts and present business cases to internal and external stakeholders.Qualifications & Experience
          • 10+ years of experience in corporate development, business development, or government relations within gaming, hospitality, real estate, or regulated industries.
          • Demonstrated success in identifying and executing strategic transactions and partnerships.
          • Deep knowledge of gaming industry regulations, licensing, and compliance standards.
          • Strong network within government and regulatory agencies, including lobbying or legislative affairs experience.
          • Experience leading cross-functional deal teams, including legal and financial advisors.
          • Advanced financial acumen with experience in investment analysis and risk management.
          • JD, MBA, or advanced degree preferred; background in corporate law, public policy, or investment banking is a strong plus.Why Join Us?
